Verdon Regional Natural Park
The Verdon Regional Natural Park stretches from east to west, from Saint-André-les-Alpes to Vinon-sur-Verdon, and from north to south, from Saint-Jurs to Régusse.
The Verdon Park is a land of contrasts: from the serene, horizontal expanse of the Valensole Plateau to the dramatic vertical cliffs of the Verdon Gorges, and on to the peaceful stretches of the large lakes—Castillon, Sainte-Croix, Esparron, and Quinson.
This Regional Natural Park is also home to characterful towns such as Riez-la-Romaine, Moustiers Sainte-Marie, Castellane, Entrevaux, and Annot, nestled among oak-covered hills, vineyards, and orchards. The beauty of these landscapes is reflected in five shimmering reservoir lakes. Vast oceans of lavender on the Valensole Plateau complete this breathtaking natural tableau.
