Mythical and fabulous, the Damascus rose offers a hydrosol both powerful and subtle, indicated for the toilet of sensitive and fragile skin. Astringent, invigorating and refreshing, it calms redness, feelings of irritation or tightness.

is renowned for its astringency for helping to get rid of rebellious coughs, also for promoting the feeling of harmony and inner peace.
Period of upheaval: change, mourning, separation …. As a cure for 21 days to be renewed if necessary after 10 days of cessation.

The flower
Discovered by the West during crusades, it is of unknown origin: perhaps the result of a spontaneous cross between Rosa Gallica and Rosa Canina? The very fragrant Damascus Rose contains essential oil which is extracted by distillation. This very precious oil has some 500 different active ingredients, which makes it one of the most complex essential oils. It takes 3.5 tonnes of roses to make 1 liter of oil.
